Time is taken to prepare and protect your property as if it were our own and to provide the best possible service to complete your project in an efficient and timely manner. All floors and carpeting will be covered with drop cloths. All furniture will be covered with vinyl sheeting. Light sanding all surfaces to be painted. Putty and caulk trim areas where applicable. Rubbish and empty paint containers will be removed from the premises. Apply top quality paint products using only 100% lambs wool professional grade rollers and oxhair brushes. Leftover paint will be marked and left for the customer. Exterior Painting Procedures Proper preparation can make the difference between good or superior results. Nothing is more important than this process. Preparation includes, but is not limited to: Power washing (3500 psi / varying tip process), where applicable Hand washing (cleaning of areas where power washing is not possible) Removal of all mildew Removal of loose coatings via scraping and hand sanding Scuff sanding of glossy surfaces (promotes adhesion) Priming of bare wood, metal, and problem areas (knot holes, tannins, etc) Removal of loose caulking and insufficient spackles Replacement of caulk where existing has failed (Sherwin-Williams 40 year siliconized caulk) Removal / replacement of rotted wood, secure loose boarding Proper protection of all surfaces, hardware, and landscaping
